Allieds Assemble
It takes a village
At Western Health, Allied Health practitioners are an essential part of the care we provide to our ever-growing community: continuous, comprehensive care at every stage of life.
As one of our Allied Health practitioners, no two days will ever be the same. You’ll be working across a variety of settings, such as Sunshine Hospital (with its newly-expanded $34.9 million Emergency Department); the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s facility; Williamstown Hospital; and the fantastic new $1.5 billion Footscray Hospital set to open in 2025.
You’ll be interacting with seasoned clinicians from every discipline and helping patients from all walks of life. Ours is one of the most unique and diverse communities in Australia – and we want your skills to help provide the ongoing, life-changing care it needs.

Whatever your career goals, Western Health is the ideal place to refine and enrich your career in Allied Health.

Maybe you’re just starting out and are looking to the future – or maybe you’ve been in your field for several years and want to help shape the future of our care model.
Western Health is the fastest-growing public health service in Australia, serving one of the country’s fastest-growing population areas, with the largest hospital build in Victorian history – the new $1.5 billion Footscray Hospital – currently underway. With all this investment and expansion, now’s the time to get on board; the opportunities for career growth and leadership will only keep coming.

Melbourne is one of the world’s greatest and most liveable cities, only a few hours by plane or car to some of Australia’s most picture-perfect holiday destinations. And Western Health’s catchment area includes a number of desirable, affordable, and up-and-coming suburbs, including Footscray, Yarraville and Williamstown – a walk to the beach, or a ten-minute trip to the city.
We already have hundreds of staff members who moved to Australia for a role in Western Health and never wanted to leave. So… what are you waiting for?
